Chinese Ambassador Ouyang Yujing officiate 2022 CSITE

On September 6, 2022, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia  Ouyang Yujing attended the opening ceremony of the 2022 China Intelligent Technology Exhibition and Forum in Kuala Lumpur and delivered a speech. The exhibition was hosted by the China Entrepreneurs Association in  Malaysia (PUCM), and was attended by Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Saifuddin and PUCM’s President Dato’ Keith Li.

Ambassador Ouyang Yujing said that the Chinese government has always attached great importance to international cooperation in scientific and technological innovation, and has proposed the "Belt and Road" scientific and technological innovation action plan with scientific and cultural exchanges, joint construction of joint laboratories, cooperation in science and technology parks, and technology transfer as the core. The social and economic development strategies of China and Malaysia are highly consistent. Both regard technological innovation as an important driver of social and economic development, and both propose the use of high-tech technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, cloud computing, robots, and augmented reality. As a basis, it is a national policy to promote the transformation of manufacturing industry to high-end and intelligent. In the post-epidemic era, China is willing to work with Malaysia to increase cooperation in the research, development and application of high-tech smart manufacturing and accelerate the pace of national transformation. It is hoped that technology companies from both countries can share ideas, discuss friendship, seek cooperation and develop together through this exhibition and forum.
